Calling all Artists to the Studio

We are very excited to offer a 6 week Creative Art Class at The Creative Child and Adults Arts Program for all artists sponsored by The Robbie Foundation  

This 6 week class will run on 

Wednesdays 

July 15, 22, 29 and August 5, 12 and 19

Time: 3:00 to 4:00 FULL

Another session has been added!

 Please note the earlier time but same dates:

Time: 1:30 to 2:30

 All ages Welcome

This program is for any artist interested in getting creative.  Whether this is your first time or you are a seasoned artist there will be lots of creative options and fun for everyone.  We will try lots of different materials so be sure to wear clothes that can get dirty. 

If space allows we are encouraging siblings to attend as well. However first priority will be given to children directly supported by the Robbie Foundation.

Join board-certified music therapist Kate Beever for an hour of music for speech & communication, stress relief, emotional regulation and self-expression, and movement.  

Group will include instrument play, singing, movement, breathing, and listening.  

No musical experience necessary.

Calling all Dancers and Hip Hop Artists

(everyone welcome)

The Robbie Foundation 

is sponsoring a 6 week Movement program at Avant Dance Center*

Students will work on movement geared to their ability level and there will be a piece of choreography taught that builds on itself week to week. We will perform the choreographed piece on the last day of class.  Rest assured: Music volume will be adjusted to students’ tolerance levels.

Interested in Martial Arts? Check this out! Everyone welcome
This 6-week class will run

Who doesn’t want to be a Ninja Turtle  or Power Ranger? This is your child’s chance to learn the moves of their favorite Super Hero! 
This program offers a unique look at martial arts for children with developmental disabilities.  Donna & Harry Harris, owners have studied multiple martial arts with 30+ years of combined experience and have a specialty in serving this population.  The program will be adapted to the individual child’s needs.  Students will use the dojo precepts humility, self-control, integrity, courtesy, discipline, perseverance and compassion to remind us of the true meaning of the martial arts.  Students will be taught that karate starts and ends with self defense.
