Kristine is a Teaching Artist

What is a teaching artist?

“A teaching artist is a practicing professional artist with the complementary skills and sensibilities of an educator, who engages people in learning experiences in, through, and about the arts.” Eric Booth*

This means she can come to your school to work directly with your teachers and staff to create a program that will deepen learnings in other academic areas.

Kristine's experience includes working with the school districts of Brunswick, Gorham, Cape Elizabeth, Portland and has also traveled to Boston through VSA to work with student artists.

She has designed projects that compliment everything from the butterfly cycle to the Revolutionary War working with artists as young as 4.

Does your school have an Educational Committee that can bring in outside artists?    Check with them today and let's get started bringing more arts into the schools!!

*Eric Booth is the father of Teaching Artists.  Kristine studied with Eric this summer for a two week program at Lincoln Center for Teaching Artists.
